Registered Nurse (RN)

With over a decade of experience in Nursing, Kahlia is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a deep passion for providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Tasmania in 2010, Kahlia has focused primarily on Aged Care and Practice Nursing Kahlia has gone on to become a Registered Nurse Immuniser, complete a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Specialising in Chronic Disease Management Kahlia has a strong expertise in Gerontological Nursing, using this knowledge to conduct Health Assessments for individuals over 75 years of age,
Cardiovascular Assessments, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Assessments and Chronic Disease Management Plans.

In addition to this Kahlia is committed to utilising her knowledge as a nurse immuniser by completing varied immunisations. Kahlia has a particular passion for Refugee Health, working in the Refugee Health Clinic to complete Refugee Health Assessments and catch-up immunisations plans. Kahlia’s favourite part of nursing is communicating with patients, ensuring they always feel listened too and valued. Kahlia is committed to providing the best possible health outcomes during every visit, believing that compassionate communication is key to building trust and promoting long term well-being.

When not at work Kahlia enjoys family time with her husband and two children, shopping, going to the beach, travelling and gardening.
